Here in Connecticut we are fortunate to have a public television service, CPTV , that televises all the UCONN Ladies hoops games and it is all funded by contributions.

Last nite was the final home game for the ladies and it was also Senior Night--- each game sees a local company etc manning to phones to take the calls for raffle and contribution money-- last night the entire UCONN Baseball team, along with Head Coach Jim Penders, was on hand to man the phones.

It was great to see this school spirit!!!

Not a basketball update but a post about the team pitching in to keep the schools activities rolling

Sorry if it offends you but I felt the guys should be recognized for their giving of their time a day after they got back from three rough games at ASU

Shall we call it SCHOOL SPIRIT !!!!

Perhaps you want to change to quote that you use in closing !!!!

Missed that part - my bad. FWIW, wasn't offended. Just missed the relevance. Should have followed Abe's advice.

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.-- Abraham Lincoln

Hey, TRHit, if you go watch baseball at UCONN, can you give me an update on Jordan Maleh (Sophomore)? He was one of the best players to ever come through my high school, and he got a partial scholarship for baseball. In High School he played first base, so I assume that's his position now. Any info is great. Thanks.
