Nick Trzesniak was the 51st overall pick in the 1999 draft and signed by the Padres. He subsequently was picked up by the Rangers in 2005 and is now with the Florida Marlins organization as the result of a trade in 2006.

He has completed 8 minor league seasons and was recently resigned to a minor league contract by the Marlins.

Good luck to all our Illinois kids competing in the minors this upcoming season.
