Question:

If a player signs a NLI next month and then is drafted in June, what happens? Is he still required to attend the college first?

NO. A college cannot force a student/athlete to attend classes. Being drafted does not have any bearing on the NLI. I would venture to say that most players that are drafted have signed an NLI.
