Hello Everyone:

Some good news to report.  After spending the Spring training and not playing HS ball, my son (now 16) has options to play on multiple Summer Teams

Team 1:  Offer to play in a reputable organization in 16u and 17u Tournaments (PG Mostly)

Team 2:  Offer to play whenever he is available (16u, 18u PG and and also some 19u events with college freshman)

Team 3:  Offer to Start CF for 17u Elite team (mostly north texas college showcases ans 1 PG event)

Team 4:  Offer to join 17u Elite orgnanization (PG and other tourneys)

Team 5:  Offerto guest play for reputable 16u North Texas team as a guest player after seeing him guest play this spring on another team

Invite to PG Academic Showcase

Needless to say he is going to have to make some choices and come up with the best combo to maximize exposure.

He also was able to get a release from the HS AD to go play for another HS next year.  He spoke to 2 schools already and one has already indicated the need for him at thier school.

meanwhile Mexican Men's league has been a fun practice opportunity and he has had time to raise his GPA and take the ACT and SAT this Spring.

He recieved contact from a college coach on the West Coast last week asking for info and video and showing a lot of interest.

I guess the persistance and hard work is paying off and maybe HS baseball is not all that critical after all.

Thanks for for all your inputs and insight!!!
