No chance for baseball TODAY!

We're not allowed to say the word Spring up here until April, lol, i do hope that everyone gets to fully enjoy and appreciate the pleasure of watching your sons and friends sons play the game. it goes by fast, best of luck to all!

Brand new policy listed today for our school district:

"No outdoor practices or games may take place if the wind chill factor is below 35 degrees"

I guess we will practice baseball sometime in late February. We have never had a policy like this before.

I think it is common sense to not keep them out there long, but I cannot imagine it being too cold to throw a little.

We were scheduled for a 2.5 hour practice today, media guide pictures and another 2.5 hour practice tomorrow, guess it'll have to wait a few days.

TBall - The panhandle has brutal wind chills into mid-late March, we'd never see the field with that policy.

It's hard to realize that in June we will be trying to keep the balls from going in sun cracks!

Luckily, we have a 9,000 sq ft turf facitity, so we had a strong 2hr workout today. Looks like sunny skies and 60's the next week! Wooohooooo!!!
