nd- Im not saying some supplements will help you, because a multivitamin and protein shake with a pretty good diet (no one can be perfect but you can get pretty close) will be 100x better for you. If you eat with 85-90% being very healthy and a little junk with all your vitamins that is a soil diet.

If you want to get bigger there are 2 ways eat a lot of junk food to get you fatter or eat healthy with tons of calories from carbs and protein while minimizing fat calories you will reap awsome benifits.
Thanks for the replies!

i dont really want to get bigger, as i am a pitcher, but would like to become more lean.
also NO-XPLODE is nitric oxide....which is difficult/impossible to get from a diet.

the reason i was thinkn of taking it is that it says that it "increases mental alertness"(which makes sense because of the amount of caffeine in it, "Increases blood flow, which helps inflamation go down" and "Increases Endurance", all of which i thoght would help in baseball.
I also thought of taking it before a game because i usually pitch/BP at night but my games are very early in the morning (9am, be there 7.30), so i thought it would give me the kick and mental advantage in the morning????

john - what ingrediants are the pro-oxidants? (pro-oxident cause diease dont they?)

any help.......PLEASE
the Nitric Oxide causes a pro-oxidant environment. Yes, they can cause more free radicals in the body, which can certainly lead to a variety of unwanted results.

There are better products to increase mental alertness. There are a few products out there with a high dose of the amino acid L-Tyrosine (3,000mg). These will help get you focused without the jitters and crash that caffeine causes.
el3ctro...

NO-Xplode also comtains other ingredients that have not been researched extensively and are not proven safe. Taking this supplement does not sound like a good idea to me.

For mental focus...
I take something called SPARK from the advocare line. It contains the amino Jon suggested(L-Tyrosine) and others that create mental focus. I take it before school and before baseball games. I strongly suggest this instead of that NO-Xplode.

To purchase or learn more about SPARK go to www.advocare.com

Hope this helps

IMO NO-Xplode is a great supplement, albeit expensive. There are alternatives that do the same thing which also cost less. Diet and nutrition are of utmost importance, but many can benefit IMO from a pre-WO supplement like Xplode. It can give you the energy/mental support you need to blast through a workout. When you see yourself pumped (at least in my case), you want to work out harder and apply yourself greater mentally. NO is a free radical molecule, like Doyle said, and is produced everytime a muscle contracts during exercise. AO supps can be taken to combat the free radical effects of NO if one's really worried, and NO should always be cycled just to be safe.

IMO if you want to spend the money, go for it.

Keep in mind that Diet/Nutrition are FAR more important.
