pickedU, I was wondering if you might chirp in on this. We haven't met but I believe you know my wife who teaches at PBC. I did mention your name in one of my posts. GREAT book and great drills. Son was able to take what Steve Adair taught him, incorporate some of your methods, and make some people look foolish. The move gets them, not the throw. VERY IMPORTANT to know this.
Agree. Mostly ignorance of the rules as interpreted cause a lot of the controversy, along with the fact that most base runners don't study pitchers and what to look for any longer. Then when they get picked, they cry about it. Forty-five degrees is a lot. The righties can do the same thing with a runner on 3rd if they were ever to work on it.
