My son's school is in their conference. abcbaseball is correct, good program ,excellent coaching. NCW's coach sat beside me during the NCAA regionals just shooting the breeze and came across as the good guy he appears to be on the field. The players well respect him and they always field a title-contending team. A lot of the players at CNU have formed friendships with NCW guys through the years-nice guys across the board. They are a huge rival but off the field, the players genuinely get along great. Nice facilities, nice field, good supportive fans that travel well. I've gotten to know some of the NCW parents and they're just delightful.

No knowledge about the school academically.
I am very familiar with the school and the program. First of all its in Rocky Mount NC which is a great city. The school is small but offers a great education. My oldest son attended NCW and he loved it. Its located just up the road maybe a mile from the city itself.

The baseball program is first class in every aspect. The coaches are outstanding and run a tight ship. This is the same school that HC of UNC Mike Fox coached at before he went to UNC. The baseball field is very nice and they take alot of pride in the facility. They do not have a reputation of bringing in alot of players. Usually if they bring you in they have a plan for you. They are one of top D3 programs in the nation year in and year out.

I have a player there this year who is a freshman. I spoke to him the other night and he absolutely loves it. He loves the coaches and all his team mates. They have a very nice weight room that is located only a couple of hundred yards from the field. The dorm they stay in is right across the street from the weight room as well. They run an excellent program and they take their baseball very serious at NCW.

I have nothing but great things to say about Coach Long and his staff. It is a great opportunity for any kid that gets the opportunity to play there.
Absolutely agree with Coach May. My son is a freshman pitcher there and he loves it. School is a bit isolated but classrooms are jsut right 12-16 students which menas you are getting lots of one on one and on the field Coach May is also right. We are carrying only 26-27 players and if they have you on the roster, you most likely in their plans to play right away or in the very near future. Pitching coach is what sold my son. Coach Girourd is execellent teacher of the game and Coach Long and coach Jones run a tight ship. Kids are very respectfull of the game, hustle all the time and are students of the game. Facility is awesone and you can tell a lot of pride is in the program...Also very involved with the community in Rocky Mount. You can PM me for me detailed info.
