My '09 Northeast grad wants to play in the Mid-Atlantic-South. He's now receiving many invites to attend their camps. I know it's a money maker, but which ones do we select without going broke?

Bizzimom - this is a rather tough question and there are many answers. I have experience with Coastal Carolina's camps and they are well worth the money imho. Along with top flight instruction and evaluation from Coastal's coaches, they have a variety of top D1's, D2's, D3's, and pro scouts in attendance. Their camps focus on teaching, pro style evaluations,and game action for all participants over two days. Myrtle Beach is also a cool place to hang out for the parents

Are coaches(other than CC) allowed to attend since camp is not on their campus.
Or is it that they can attend but not make any contact?

Good point, I forgot if D1 coaches can or cannot. All others can.

My son went to CC camp last December. I don't remember other coaches being there - not going to say they were not there, will just say I don't remember seeing them, am usually pretty aware of what colleges are there.
Son knows the pitching coach well and thinks highly of him. I sat behind the head coach in the bleachers and was very impressed with his interaction with the kids as they would come sit by him and visit. He was very direct, yet very helpful and attentive to each young man.

For once I agree with Frank Martin, monster event the past few years as far as coach attendance.
