Balmy 70 here in Texas. Have a good friend in Buffalo that emailed me. Temps in the teens and lots of snow.
I just don't know how they handle all that snow, etc. They are much hardier that I am. I guess you get used to it and structures are built to withstand the weight of the snow. And I assume that they have a supply of food/water/supplies on hand for such snowstorms. I will take the 100 degree heat any day!

Yeah, but the snow Buffalo has is from previous storms. "Juno" (this nor'easter now forming) won't reach that far - or if it does Buffalo won't get much.
Juno just grazed us here in VA. Have only seen rain and very little snow with temps in the high 30's. Might get an inch or two later tonight. Fine by me.

Broke some records here in the bay area this past weekend. 84 in Monterey, 70 here in San Francisco.
Lot's of family in the Philly area preparing for the snow. Talked to my 83 year old dad yesterday and he was pissed my brothers took away his snow shovel.
Be safe everyone!
Opening Day for my son is Saturday. We'll be headed to NC Friday. Woo Hoo! Can't wait!

Hopefully it won't effect our team scrimmage tomorrow. There may be a little left over rain in Tucson, but the high is still projected to be 69. I know what you're thinking, it's cold but the players get hoodies, sweat shirts and long sleeve t's. Hopefully they can find a way to get through without a Donner Party situation. Luckily they have local businesses to feed them. They will still complain about the conditions, but I will set them straight (2 miles up hill both directions, 3' of snow, XC skies that don't fit, etc)
Pray for us, but we'll get through.
South Jersey only recv'd a couple of inches...blah
Well it's miserable... Snow blowing everywhere, snowblower on it's last legs, already got 5-8 inches expecting another 15-24 of "light fluffy powder", dog went out this morning and looked back at me like "are you crazy? you expect me to go out here?". Lots of pluses to living in NH, but these minuses have us ready to move...
You'll love this one TPM because you know my son's story. Saturday at 8am he was doing an intrasquad scrimmage. Pitched 2 inning, 36 degrees (team has all weather turf). Popped over at house later that day to do laundry-. When I asked him how it went he said "Why didn't' I go to school in Florida again? Just to be close to you all?
Pray for us, but we'll get through.
This is the first time I've ever noticed that this app doesn't have a "Don't Like" button.
Good weather here in NC. Keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way.

Hoping it stays that way through Saturday!
Barely got 1/2" of snow from Juno.
I don't know what you guys are talking about. 71 here in Colorado yesterday and will be 76 today. But don't worry, snow forecasted for Fri/Sat.
What a false alarm in North J...at least I got day off from work.
I flipped on CNN this morning and saw several people SURFING off the coast of MAINE. Apparently, the storm is bringing some really sweet waves.
