Back-to-back regional championships for Coach John James and his Spartans. Spartans pound out 17 hits against Hough, Joe Mcgillicuddy, Thomas, and Finerty. Wahl pitched 5 no-hit innings and was removed as the Spartans built an 11-0 lead. Woodson did not quit as their bats came alive putting a 6-spot on the board in the 6th. Wahl 3-run homer in the btm of 6 put the game away.

Wahl and Charlie Morgan were named co MVPs of the tournament.
