Wakefield defeated Loudoun Valley, 4-2.
Mt. Vernon plays Falls Church tonight. Wakefield takes on Yorktown. Winners receive Northern Region berths.
In the Concorde District on Monday:
Herndon beat Chantilly 3-0 in a "play in" game. Lombardozzi threw a 3 hitter with 8Ks. Hornets travel to Robinson. Other game is Centreville/Fairfax. Winners gain Northern Region berths.
In the Liberty District on Tuesday:
Marshall defeats Woodson, 11-7. 5 home runs in the game.
South Lakes defeats Thomas Jefferson, 15-3.
Marshall travels to Stone Bridge tonight. South Lakes over to Langley tonight. Winners of these games gain berths in Northern Region tourney.
Patriot District tourney begins this evening.
