The Stone Bridge Bulldogs scored 4 runs in the fourth inning, capped by a Tony Mazur 3 run home run, to defeat Woodson 12-7 in Fairfax. Mazur (Sr.) went 2 for 3, adding a double, scoring 3 runs and tallying 4 RBI for Stone Bridge (3-2, 2-2). Sophomore Mike Stancik was 2 for 3, with a double and triple, 3 RBI and a run scored. Sophomore Jeron Gouveia added 2 hits, 2 runs scored and an RBI. Stone Bridge was also able to make the most of 7 Cavalier walks, as they plated 5 of them. Woodson (2-2, 2-2) took advantage of some sloppy defense by the Bulldogs in third inning, scoring 3 runs on 5 errors. them. Senior hurler Chris Dzurilla had another solid outing, going 5 innings, striking out 8 and only walking 2 in picking up his first win of the season. Mazur pitched the last two innings, striking out 4 more Cav batters while earning his first save.
