Just curious others' opinions. My son recently played in a PG super 7 tourney in GA. Did awesome hitting 12 for 25 in the tourney. He is disappointed that his teammates , most of whom fared much worse received letters from some schools and he did not. He is a 2010 playing with 2008s and 2009s. Does the age make a difference of whom they may contact? Simply not noticeable player?

A coach is allowed to send via mail/email basic information about the school as well as a questionaire for the potential recruit to fill out and send back. This is the only types of correspondence allowed until the prospect begins his Junior year, after that emails are allowed both ways. Of course the prospect can intiate contact at any time as well as campus visits with the coach as long as the conversations are within the school campus.
