Nova District Finals

One thing that's interesting is that Centreville, West Springfield, McLean, and W-L are all going to have to beat quality teams for the third time this year in order to be district champs. That is no easy feat. I'd be shocked if all four #1 seeds were able to do that.

Very true...all should be good games...kinda wish I could attend all of them, but my schedule won't allow me to make any of them...hope Gameday comes through!

I'm thinking Westfield might be able to pull it off. I know the Madison / McLean game was initially scheduled to be played at Madison although McLean would be the "home" team...That could give Madison a bit of an edge too...but, I'll pick McLean in that one...

Will Centreville and Westfield pitch their number 1's? They will have tough first round games in regionals.

I heard that Westfield will pitch their #1 who hasn't pitched against Centerville this year. I would assume that Centerville would as well, but I don't know.

I do agree that they will have tough games on Friday either way...I'm not sure there are any "easy" games left to be played by any of the Northern Region teams.

McLean lost to Madison 4-1. Poor performance by McLean with ill advised baserunning moves, some bad fielding and no ability to hit a well-managed Madison team. Hat off to the Warhawks for a well executed game.
