I found this on the Prospects Baseball Academy web site, located at http://prospectsbaseballacadem...ut/prospects-stars/:
“Starting in the fall of 2010 the Prospects Baseball Academy will merge with the NVTBL Stars, creating the premier baseball program in the area.”

Does anyone have any insight into this?

-Prospects Elite uses Prospects Sports Training Center.
-Prospects' Baseball Academy utilizes Prospects Sports Training Center.
-The quote from the site states "Prospects Baseball Academy will merge with the NVTBL Stars".
-Further reading shows that the Stars will use Prospects Sports Training Center.
-All associated personnel from Elite, Academy, Training Center are the same using same email addresses.
-Key phrase regarding this merger: starting in Fall 2010.

Would appreciate it if anyone has any insight into this. Thanks.
The same guys who started Prospects Sports Training started Elite Travel Baseball last year. They recently took over management of the Stars (not sure what that means exactly), but the teams are separate. If/how they come together under the Academy remains to be seen -- not that the teams will merge, but they will be managed under the same umbrella. All three websites currently reference the Academy, so it's clear they are related. Both programs seem to have a goal of preparing kids for higher level play. Elite also places tremendous emphasis on conditioning at the facility (it's a requirement).
Very helpful, MHC77. Concluding that the teams will be separate, but that management of the organization folds beneath the Academy, and that Elite and Stars will use the facility, again separately.

Consolidation of the disparate travel organizations beneath one umbrella utilizing one facility makes tremendous managerial, operational and business sense. Tip of the cap to those guys.
