Summer opportunities keep expanding. The NYCBL is adding 2 teams. They will now be up to 13 teams, and will be again splitting into divisions.

Glad for the league but ugh...scheduling an odd number of teams extends the season pretty deep... at least players get a guaranteed night off occasionally.
Yeah I was surprised when they brought on 2. If they were going to add I thought they would have added 1. With splitting into two divisions, they will have one division with an odd number and one with an even. I wonder how they will handle that.
Prospect League had the same situation this summer when a team in the west division dropped out. The east division played games 6 nights a week with Mondays off. The west division scheduled games every day, but every day there was 1 team with an off day. Each team in each division was scheduled the same number of games.
