Does anyone have any insightful information about the school and/or the baseball program? I've recieved a few things from there and I'm just interested to see the public opinion. Nobody had any information in the Ask About Colleges forum.

I just had my 08 son there at a prospect camp they held.

Nice field (although the dugouts are not that great). Oakland is a pretty good school academically. I don't know too much about their baseball team. The campus area was decent also.

The coaches seem OK. They put the kids through a pretty good instructional workout before the game. They didn't have any radar guns going during the workouts and I was a little surprised by that. But the one coach said that NCAA rules prohibited them from using the radar guns at that time.
