What a great week in baseball,

Start the week with Hudson in a complete game against "them" White Sox. You know the guys that traded him.
End the week with Verlander striking out a career high 14 last night.
This MLB package has sure been worth the money this week.

Hope to see all of you ODU parents at the Bud on Tuesday to welcome the new coach!

I wouldn't think he'd be mad about that! Seems like it's worked out pretty well for him, wouldn't you say? He should send them a thank-you card every anniversary of that deal.

But I can understand dialing it up a bit against your former organization I suppose.

Recently called up from Low-A to fill in for the Wilmington Blue Rocks' injured SS, Gerard Hall got the team's lone hit against rehabbing big leaguer Chien-Ming W-ang and later added a triple during his 2-for-4 last week. I saw him in three out of the four games in the series against Potomac getting 6 H in 11 AB and playing stellar defense. He was also a great kid to meet.
