A couple of thoughts.

1- Ask the coaching staff, they will let you know specifically what they will do.

2- On my son's visit we drove to the school and they paid us for our mileage. It worked out better than paying for our flights (Mom & Dad) and than renting a car on top of it.

3- All our meals were with coaching staff and paid for.

The experience for our son was great and also gave us a comfort level with his final choice. I would encourage going on visit with Son if possible.

I don't know anyone who ever went on an official visit with their child and was not accomodated with lodging and meals.
I am assuming a school would not cover parents expenses because they just don't have it in their budget? For me this might be a warning sign coach is on a strict budget. JMO

However I think the poster may be a player and is asking for , not parents.

Answer is they pay for your transportation, lodging and meals. At one school, teh players had their own hotel rooms! Not on the same floor as ours . Big Grin

Prepster has directed you to the right place.
