Bud Selig just announced that the NY Mets will be given a "do-over" for the final two weeks of the season.

They will be allowed to play all of the games over again.

This will delay the scheduled NL playoffs.

Frequently Asked Question: Why do the Mets eat grass?

From itsinthegame, HMW (Hapless Mets Watcher)

Question: Why do the Mets eat grass?

Answer: It may be normal, some Mets seem to like the taste of grass. They may not be feeling well and eat grass to prompt them to vomit. Or they may vomit after simply eating grass (or choking on the grass). There are many theories about the Mets, grass, and choking.

If your Mets exhibit an odd appetite (choking on non-important games), or end-of-season vomiting, then please contact your ticket broker as soon as possible. You may want to swap out next year's tickets for a season at the other Mets...the Metropolitan Opera.
