Could someone out there please help me with how an official visit works? Previously, I had found on the NCAA website really detailed information regarding what is allowed and what is not allowed on an official and details on unofficial visits also. Of course now that I really need the information, I can't for the life of me find it. If anyone has the details of where this information is on the site that would greatly appreciated.

Just to further expand on official visits.

If parents are invited, NCAA allows for their expenses be paid for except for transportation. Also if parents have to drive son to the school, parents are reimbursed for miledge and tolls.

Before an official visit you should receive notification in writing what is allowed and not allowed and they must provide you with their graduation rates as per NCAA ruling.
