Official Visits

The purpose of an official visit is to see the campus, visit classes , meet the coaches and players and it is for 48 hours only

There is a 30 mile radius that a recruit is allowed to travel from campus on an official visit. If the game is played within that radius, it is allowed, but if not he wouldn't be able to travel.

So if I understand your response, If they (the school)are in Florida playing a tournament the recruit can't visit and stay with team over night.

Depending on the recruiting calendar, you can make it an unofficial visit, you can always go a watch the game see how they play the game, also check out the dugout and see the intensity of the players in the dugout, are they into the game and having fun??

Depending on the calendar you can or can not talk to the coaches other than just saying hi, but it would be good for them to know you are there and are interested in their program.
