I wonder if this is what it is going to take to get the people of Illinois to stop their penchant for electing officials with no fiscal responsibility.

When that final drop of taxpayer money that has been shanghaied by our corrupt politicians falls there will be no more to keep buying votes.

We have four children...I'm advising all of them to consider settling down somewhere other than Illinois. Our leaders just don't get it...and neither do our voters! Unsustainable situation and they don't have a clue. None.

Though on Monday, I mentioned to Wifey that the day after I retire (she will have done so before me), is the day we are gone!
Chicago is a great place to visit for a long weekend but, I don't want to live here...any more.

Now the cold...what can I say? I hear you can snap up real estate cheap in Cairo,IL right along the Ohio River. You can't get any further south and still be in Illinois.

Collectively, "we" may have, but not me. Not for Madigan, Cullerton, Gov. Tax Increase - none of da bums. It's a repetitious cycle driven by the Chicago Machine just going 'round and 'round and 'round.
And thanks for the "sort of" warm thought. It's only 30°F in Cairo,IL and that's till too darn cold. I was going to ask if you had a nice pic of Albuquerque, NM, but it's only 41°F there!!!
