That reminds me,

Back in the day when my son was taking pitching lessons from Steve Busby, a friend of my sons came with us to get a lesson. When he walked in he had his hat on backwards (the friend). First thing Busby said to him was "son, the hat was not made to keep the sun off your neck, please turn it around". I guess that is old school because alot of players wear them backwards in pregame now.

I'm in Atlanta with my son, missing the opening weekend of my son's new hat team. I thought people in the "deep south" were supposed to have "southern hospitality"?

My son tried to wear his hat one time crooked, after I knocked it off his head with a backhand, he never tried it again. Same with the flat bill.

1998 posts, maybe I'll save the 2000th post to tell everybody my son's 60 time in the morning, that should get everybodies panties in a wad. Big Grin Big Grin

Krace's son is sporting 2 new hats, a fishing hat and a college baseball hat, ain't it just great!!!!!!!!

Heck, if Krace4's son catches enough maybe we can all head down south to visit him at college and enjoy the fish fry........ last fish fry I went to I think he was responsible for at least half of the fish that were fried....Baseball and fishing do seem to go hand in hand....

Good Luck to your son tomorrow, know you will enjoy it as PG puts on a first class showcase. We totally enjoyed the one we attended this summer at Baylor.
This weekend's choice:

He ran a 6.8something on a damp outfield at East Cobb.

Most impressive local kid I saw out there was Jordon Swaggerty of Tiger fame. Jordon had the second fastest pop time of all catchers there, threw 88 off the mound (after catching 3 innings) and hit one deep in BP with a wood bat and a wet ball. (One of only 3 kids to do so)

And for those that don't know Jordo, he is one of the nicest kids around.
