Oklahoma Showcases/Teams

Showcase/Travel teams are not very prevalent after 14u in OK. There are a few teams that put a pretty good product on the field, but they don't go out and play at the bigger events across the nation. Off the top of my head, the Elk City Travelers & Spivey Stars are the best bets locally. There are programs in North Texas, Dallas-Ft.Worth, Kansas and Missouri that play in the high profile events, which a lot of scouts/college coaches attend. I'm a little biased, but the best baseball exposure & competition is in the North Texas/Dallas-Ft.Worth area.

We will continue to host a showcase with the Tulsa Drillers every fall and we host showcase tournaments at Oklahoma State University for 15-18U teams every year that bring in some great competition from TX, LA, AR, MO, IL, KS, CO and SD!

However, I agree with 643 ... travel teams are not very prevalent in Oklahoma. The Travelers are legit and several other programs showed very well this summer against some top competition.

Should be plenty of options out there for you NCMtnBBDad. Boomtown, I believe, travels more extensively than some of the others, besides the Travelers.
