Blogs like those are EXTREMELY typical of a college baseball coach. You can't please everyone. Take Augie Garrido for example...I've never personally come across him. But he's won 5 national championships at 2 different schools (Fullerton and Texas) and is one of the winningest college coaches of all time. There are some players that swear by him, and some that despise him. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

I don't see anything wrong with the move. As stated before, Finwood's home is near ODU. I've heard nothing but good things about him in the past and WKU has built a very good program in a short amount of time. ODU could need this type of coach to come in and boost an already strong program to the next level they desire to be at.

They are not that favorable for Finwood?

The first article says Finwood left for ODU. The second was a nameless parent complaining about him.

There was no idea of right vs. wrong and if you were a Finwood favorite you had a different set of rules and played everyday no matter how bad you did. Other kids never saw the field because he never gave them a shot

Is this really differant than anything you hear in the stands in any high school field? Whiney baseball parents are even less attractive in college.
