to w&j...washington and jefferson in western pennsylvania. I know its a small D3 school but their new coach seems to have turned the program around.

The Presidents, who have won 57 games over the past two seasons including a school-record 32 in 2005, return all nine position players and their top six starting pitchers from last year’s team which played in the ECAC Division III Southern Tournament Championship Game.

Most of those players are either juniors or sophomores. I know it may not be as prestigious as LSU or Georgia, but I'm still happy to play in college. Just out of curiousity, do division 3 players get drafted or is it like the NFL where only 2 or 3 might actually make it.

congrats on your selection and best of luck in your new adventure! there are some very good D-3 baseball programs and a lot of good baseball out there. my personal opinion is its better to be able to have a chance to play instead of riding the pine possibly at a larger school and if you are good enough the MLB will find you anyway. Word does get around. good luck
thanks everybody. I hope my comment about the D1 colleges being more prestigious did not make me look like i was dissapointed in playing Division 3 baseball. I would take pride in any college that wanted me to play and when august rolls around ill be happy to be there but also focused on the next object which is of course, to help our team win (along with getting my education). However, it is only march and it's time to make my senior year one to remember. Good luck to everyone playing high school baseball this year.
