Once coaches show interest what is next step?

My son has gotten some emails from schools that he sent his summer schedule to saying they would come to see him play. He also had a few coaches hand him their cards after a game and tell him to email them.

Should he continue to show interest by updating them with a call or email or should he just wait for them to contact him again?

At one of the showcase recruiting seminars the speaker pointed out that it is big deal to get a call or hear from a coach. Always have you son follow up and be positive. Then do your research into the school, majors and the baseball program.
