Things are so bad there, so much dishonesty and exploitation of these young kids, wish that MLB would pack up and go home.
The cardinals signed a 16 year old player, 3M+. The player was found to have poor vision even with corrective contacts(I am not sure they even knew he wore contacts), a claim based on that he had an eye infection, found some issues that could affect his eyesight in the future and withdrew the contract and money. They do things differently there, you sign then you get your physical, based on a clean physical than you get money, most likely gonna be a fight between the player, agent and cardinals. My opinion is they tried to pass him off as 100% healthy. The strange part is that so many other teams were after him, the cards came up with the bucks the agent wanted so they got him. It could have been any team.
