Many who post or read in this thread know well the baseball journey of Jeff Taylor, as as that journey bookends the tragic and untimely death of his Father, our wonderful HSBBW friend JT.
Perhaps the playing side of that journey is close to complete.
I read this morning that Jeff is no longer with the Reds organization. He has been released.
I don't for one minute believe this baseball journey is complete. Everything JT posted on the site showed his love of baseball, everything others posted about JT demonstrated his love of the game, and most everything I have read about Jeff suggests he will be around the game and there is more to follow in baseball.
Hopefully for Jeff, there is a new journey starting, with JT always his spirit.
God Speed.

I am sorry to hear that, and FWIW, his is not the only player released, it's that time of the month when rosters are being decided and cuts being made. I am so glad that he and all the other players released did get the chance to be a "pro". It's tough to see this happen.

I wish JT all the best and hope that mom is doing well.
