OPRF's Class of 2005 Dennehy picks up first professional save

Tim Dennehy posted his first pro save Friday, tossing the final three scoreless innings of a 6-0 Gulf Coast Yankees win over the Phillies. Dennehy faced only 10 batters (no hits, one walk, two strikeouts) to close out the victory, dropping his ERA to a season-low 3.93. He has made two starts and four relief appearances in 18 1/3 innings pitched.

Congrats to Tim from me and my son who competed against Tim, and caught several bullpens for him at Strikes when Tim was a senior at OPRF. A good guy!!

We wish him nothing but continued success!!!!!!
