Mike Adams in McKinney
Bruce Douthit in McKinney/Frisco

Both are awesome. Mike did a shoulder surgery on my about 10 years ago with great results. You couldn't go wrong with either one.
My son's doctor is Dr. Milne of the FW Sports/Bone Clinic.
I knew I would be happy with him during the first appointment when he asked specific questions about how he felt during stages of pitching and based on what my son said, he responded, so ball is staying up or dropping out or whatever he said (I'm just the mom, don't remember the details.....)It was obvious he had worked with pitchers.
He was on our insurance which was a bonus, and realistically for us, a necessity.
My son is still in recovery but we have both been pleased so far.
You need to specify what type of injury you have. This Dr. Cooper sounds like a knee guy. Check on his shoulder experience!!!! I have had 6 surguries on my shoulders. I like you, was "insuranced" into bad decisions and refered to very prominent sports orthopedic who specialized in football "Knee's" injuries. His inexperience on shoulders caused me to endure 3 additional surguries. My shoulder was eventually repaired perfectly by Dr.Watson. The Irony of my story is i originally went to Dr, Watson for a second opinion, I got frustrated with the fact that he was hard to get to see and made a bad choice.
Dr. Cooper did my son's knee surgery. He's one of the best. If shoulder is what you need, then you should try one of his associates. I'd hurry up and get in before hockey season starts. When my son had his knee surgery, the Stars were in the playoffs, and Dr. Cooper traveled with the team, so we kept getting bumped. Little did he know that he was putting off a future major leaguer!! :-)
