Are the goals for spring 10+ wins in district and the playoffs?
the goals are playoffs!this is a tough district!
It is definitely a tough district. But confidence will help and it looks like these boys have something to look forward to. Good luck to them all next spring.

Tough district is an understatement. Both teams in the Eastern Regional finals were Southeastern District teams. Predict they will have at least one in the finals next year also.
Nansemond river and kellam should be state favorites this year!
If I am not mistaken and this is a looong way off the Regional is SE Vs E and Beach Vs Pininsula in the first round this spring.

There are a few teams in Richmond (James River, Atlee, Hanover, etc...) that I know will have a lot to say as to who plays in the state championships ! I'm pretty confident that NOVA will be more than representative this spring as well !!
Nansemond River and Great Bridge will be very tough next spring as well !!!

im sorry i ment eastern region favorites to get to states!
Since NR returns almost everyone and got to States last year that makes sense. WB was in a similar spot last year and didn't get out of the district!
If I learned anything though from last year after prediciting an undefeated season for WB was let's play the 100 or so Regular season games first!
Kellam is young and coming so it will be interesting to see if the improvement continues. They will be very tough if it does.

luv baseball,i know nansemond river is the favorite this year because of senior laden great bridge and western branch not saying nasemond river will be undeafeated!

Humbling - Always! Just when you think you have something figured out someone does something totally unexpected and flips everything upside down.
yeah i didnt except us to finish in last last year!i was excepting some guys to do better!and with our our 2nd baseman hurt for 14 games it hurt us some also!so u never know with injuries we had another injury froma pitcher that pitched 2nd game and was out the rest of the year!
