I just ran across a very good recruiting handbook created by the San Gabriel Valley Arsenal baseball program on the Rounding Third Blog. For all those that have ball players that aspire to play at the next level you may want to check this out. (nice blog by the way)

The handbook information reads like the "best of HSWBB" and covers many of the time lines, questions and general information regarding the recruiting process. Hat's off to the SGV Arsenal on creating such a valuable tool. I wish I would have found this a couple years ago.

Someone should market this thing

Thank you for the compliment on the recruiting guide. Coach Jim Giles spent a great deal of time putting the guide to together. It will be updated soon. We actually sent it to some college coaches to review it. They all gave us the thumbs up. We made it for our players and felt the information needed to be shared. We firmly believe we should assist and provide as much information with as many players/parents who seek it. It is for the greater good of the game. We have been successful with players in our program but are willing to share any knowledge we have with others. You can also download the guide from out website.

Coach Giles has a website call teachdgame.com which he shares his thoughts. It has come through conversations we have about the game.
