I have 14yr old, very successful switch hitter, that tends to overstride when hitting from the left side. He is right handed, not that it matters.
Any good drills or tips? Don't want to mess him up, he is hitting well for average, hits the ball hard, but can end up too streched out when he is swinging. On the right side he doesn't have this issue.

Swingbuster, he loves the ball up and away, we just started this season working on turning on the middle in pitch, if its up he smokes it, if its down he is half pop up, half solid contact. His foot is down and he gets on top of most balls, but his coach mentioned his overstriding and I now notice it also. This switch hitting thing is a ton of work, but my son says its worth it when he faces guys with good slider/curves.
