In game one - Greensboro crushed Lakeland 15-0 in 5 innings.

In the second game - Kempsville came to play and got off to a 5-0 start, but Lynnhaven shook off some early rust and miscues to win 13-5.

Today's games are:

3PM - Greensboro vs Lynnhaven
5:30PM - Kempsville vs Lakeland
8PM - Loser of 1st game vs Winner of Second Game.

On Friday, Greensboro defeated Lynnhaven 6-5 to force Lynnhaven to the loser's bracket. Lynnhaven comes out of the losers bracket to face Greensboro this morning.

In temps easily in the triple digits, Lynnhaven rebounded by defeating Greensboro twice, 9-4 and 10-0. Lynnhaven now advances to the East Zone Championships in Pittsburgh, PA.

Birddog,

We will be leaving on Friday Morning. Our first game is 5:30pm on Saturday.

Tournament is 31 Jul to 3 Aug.
