Pan-Am Games

Just a quick question...
What can you guys tell me about the Pan-Am Games. They're in Rio de Janiero, Brazil next year and I was just interested in the baseball aspect of it. What are the ages... etc.?

The Pan-Am games are just like the Olympics but are for countries in the western hemisphere only. Held every 4 years, the year before the summer Olympics. I don't know if baseball's Team USA will be college players or maybe minor leagers. I went to the Pan-Am games in 1987 when they were held in Indianapolis. College guys back then. I remember Jim Abbott was a pitcher for USA and Frank Thomas was one of the players. I saw them beat Canada.
