I've heard right around 90 from the right side and mid-80's from the left.

I love the quote from CC Sabathia. He sees a lefty relieve him. By the time Sabathia gets to the dugout, the pitcher is a righty.

The 5 mph difference sounds about right for the normal differences of a typical righty vs. lefty.

Yea..I knew this guy was pitching in the Yankee system. Saw the highlights that he got to pitch a ST game. That's gotta be pretty neat to be your own relief pitcher when you need a lefty to come in to face the lefty hitter
