ther is a product called "Goo be gone"...sort of a solvent for just such adhesives....another is lestoil, a laundry supplement....pull of as much as the sticker as you can and let the product soak in....

as a collector of wood bats, these 2 things work best for me on the newer player model bats.... On my older bats, I never use any solvents.....

Don't make it complicated - peel off as much as you can with your fingers or a PLASTIC scraper - a little WD-40 on a rag as MIDLo suggested, just rub the area, and all the adhesive 'boogers' will wipe off.

Works good on bumpers stickers too - PB+J and hair dryers, etc may all work, but too much effort.

This method is easy and gauranteed to work
