Peeling Stickers off a Wood Bat

Do you plan on useing this bat or put it in a glass case to look at????

Using it, but I don't want the sticker marks all over the barrell and handel, theres about 5 on the bat.

A few good swings and the marks on the barrel will be obliterated== as for the handle with all the pine tar you guys use it will take one at bat and the marks on the handle will be gone

Just make sure you have the main label up or down.
Keep the wood grain parallel with the ground.

Got them off pretty easy, by just peeling them really slow.

ther is a product called "Goo be gone"...sort of a solvent for just such adhesives....another is lestoil, a laundry supplement....pull of as much as the sticker as you can and let the product soak in....

as a collector of wood bats, these 2 things work best for me on the newer player model bats.... On my older bats, I never use any solvents.....

Spread peanut butter lightly over the sticky areas and leave on for a few minutes, then rub off.....it works.

Wet a papertowel and rub it over the sticker..then peel.

WD-40 will do just about anything.

Nah, that would look weird.

Well, you just have to do that kind of thing in private.

Warm the sticker with a hair-dryer for a little while. It heats up the glue and the sticker peels off much easier.

A 1/2 stick of dynamite will also do the trick.

Don't make it complicated - peel off as much as you can with your fingers or a PLASTIC scraper - a little WD-40 on a rag as MIDLo suggested, just rub the area, and all the adhesive 'boogers' will wipe off.

Works good on bumpers stickers too - PB+J and hair dryers, etc may all work, but too much effort.

This method is easy and gauranteed to work
