My son will be in the tournament. He plays for Longhorn Baseball from Ashburn, VA. Unfortunately, work precludes me from attending.

So Ricky, what did you think of the tournament? Was it what you expected? What did you think of the competition?

I thought it was a great tournament with the top competition. even though we only won two games I had a lot of fun.

i was wondering if anyone thought that 100 teams for the 17u tourny and about 85 or more teams for the 18u tourny was a little more than enough. my thinking is that some teams wont get that many looks because of the lack of scouts at games at high school fields. o yea, i noticed that the 16u astros got all their pool games played at field 1. what a coincidence (sp?). im not saying its wrong, im just asking. i love the tournies set up by perfect game and think they only help my chances of being seen.
