Has anyone ever attended this event? Our son was invited and was wondering of ot was worh it. They seem to do things alittle diferent than normal "showcases"........

My son ('06 catcher) did the Pendleton D-1 tour last fall. Good first exposure. ...got him on the radar for several good programs. The weekends were well organized. On the whole, exceeded our expectations. Bottom line... My son committed to UF, and was helped a bit by a coach who saw him play at Auburn last fall talking him up to the UF staff.

Due to Hurricane Katrina there are some changes. The Miami tryouts will be held on Sept. 3 at FIU. the Orlando tryouts will be held Sept. 4 at Tinker Field.
We feel it is important to protect the players from traveling during a hurricane rather than try to push in a tryout.
