Per IHSA Baseball rules, would this glove's colors be legal for pitchers?

Those lines you refer to are the welting of the glove. Many gloves feature this nuetral colored welting. While one could argue that the color is grey, this part of the glove generally gets a pass when it comes to determining the color of the glove or it's laces. It would be extremely unusual, IMO, for this to be called out on HS rules. I would, however, be interested in hearing the views of one of our esteemed umpires on this one.

Haha, yea I have faith in him. Even though we are projected to win 70-75 games this year, I still have hope in the team, hope for the future. I've never experience a "total rebuilding" year as a Cubs fan before, but I understand that it is necessary right now. Hopefully we will have a good, efficient organization by 2014.
