My son's team played at Oglethorpe University..by the looks of the picture my daughter is texting to me, it looks like some kind of King Arthur's jousting pavillion!! Games are going well..weather has been mild. Is there some kind of street fair in Marietta tonight with fireworks?..husband is asking around locally..and I'm helping out from a distance!!
i will be participating in the 17U with the Gambrill Athletic Club from Maryland.
Is there a list of what colleges will be at East Cobb?
Our local team is there, and the coaches say they are seeing lots of college coaches. Quite a few came out to watch one of our pitchers throw in game #3, but unfortunately, he didn't show too well for himself.

Im down at East Cobb this week with the 18u Dirtbags my son is playing with them and Im coaching them. I will be back next week for the 17u tourney watching my son and the 17u Dirtbags. There are quite a few college coaches in attendance but not near as many as there will be there next week. You can bet on seeing just about every D-1 program in the country at this event and many other lower level programs as well. This is one of the most heavily if not the most heavily scouted events of the year. Good luck to all of you next week.
