vabaseballmom,
That does sound like a very disappointing experience at the Blue Gray classic. A few mishaps are understandable, but that sounds like the cart lost some wheels!
If you do a search for Perfect Game in other threads on this site, you will find that they are probably the most respected high school baseball scouting organization in the country, and they consistently run successful, well organized events. Their large national events draw scouts from all of the MLB teams and major colleges. Their smaller regional events may or may not bring in as many scouts depending on the event, but scouts will be well-represented, and will learn about your son from the follow-up reports by PG. And PG's reports on players are credible and trusted at the highest levels of baseball.
You will find it said frequently in the other threads, by parents of players who have attended:
If you have an opportunity to go to a Perfect Game event, and your son has the ability to play at the next level, go...you will not regret it. And you may be interested to know that many of the parents saying that, now have sons playing college or professional baseball.
