Perfect Game BCS 17U Nationals in Fort Myers, FL

The "Metal Bat" Division of the Perfect Game Nationals is currently being held in Fort Myers, FL with over 60 teams from all over the country (and Puerto Rico) converging to chase the National Championship title.

Scouts from many Div 1, Div 2 and Juco's along with MLB scouts have been in attendance at this Championship tournament.

Many teams and families started playing on Wed, 7/16 with the finals to be held on Monday, 7/21. The teams are now narrowed to 4-teams as the Semi-Finals will be represented by the following teams:

Team DeMarini vs East Cobb Astros
Diamond Vision Elite vs Florida Stars Grey

Best of luck to all teams tomorrow in your persuit of this National Championship.

The Finals are now complete with Team DeMarini losing in the bottom of the 7th, 4-3 to the East Cobb Astros.

In the other SemiFinal game, Diamond Vision Elite beat the FL Stars Grey, 11-2.

Diamond Vision then beat the East Cobb Astros in the Championship game, 14-9.

Great series and congratulations to the Diamond Vision Elite who not only won this tournament but also finished in the Final Four in the PG WWBA 17U last week.
