RHP05,
Just got back from the National's. I had the pleasure of watching your son pitch on Friday, he is a very gifted young man. My son also pitched on Friday's second game for the Royal Team, he was the first pitcher (Shaun Garceau) he also threw very well. By the way look at the WWBA site there are some nice comments on both our boys performances... how about that?
I hope you had a good time at the showcase.
ya i had a great time down there, it was really fun playing in the dome, i did ok down there, i struck out justin upton so i was pumped about that, perfect game has summaries of the games if u wanna look me up on that, i pitched on day 2, but ya im in Joplin Missouri right now at the tournament of stars, this is another good showcase/tournament.

RHP05Parent- thanks for the congrats, im pretty sure i saw your son pitch too, i watched like every game since i had nothing else to do in st. pete, he looked pretty good, good luck to your family in the future.

Thx AHSpitcher17 & PINCHMETWICE. Just returned from the PG Nationals and the Tournament of Stars. Son had a great time and was fortunate to play well at both events. PINCHMETWICE, yes I did read the article that highlighted both our sons. Congrats to you on your son's great performance! applaude

Our son is staying in Joplin this week as he made the first cut of players down to the 30-man roster, announced at the end of the Tournament of Stars. Final cuts to determine the 18 player USA team will be this Saturday. He has some great company as Justbaseball's son and SDBB's son have also made the 30-player trials roster. CONGRATULATIONS to all the guys! applaude
Thanks very much guys, it's really been great. Just when I think I've seen it all, son amazes us again in Joplin with a gutsy, complete 9 inning game, giving up only 1 run for the win. 'Course, having a terrific defense behind him (ex: Justin Upton was his short stop! Cool) that turned double plays and made diving catches was a pitcher's dream game. It was truly awesome to watch these terrific players just lay it all on the line for an opportunity to wear USA on their chest ..... and watching your son among them was priceless! Smile
Sounds like tons of fun.

Pinchmetwice, I still owe Greg 5 bucks. Just so that people understand, S. Garceau is an August 87 birthday. Very young and very talented. Got to know him and his parents this summer. Tell Greg I owe him a cigar!

Wait til you guys get to see Colten Willems next year! wow

Congrats to rhp'05 and son! Enjoy. I always like it when an Eric does well!
