Looks like the weather will be fantastic for a weekend of baseball at Baseball Heaven in Long Island. Is anyone heading out? There are some quality teams looking for the bid to play in the Metrodome. It's a nice facility, 8 fields, all artificial turf, just a little short, (fences) for a metal bat event.

My son (Chris Rollins) is playing this summer for the Team NY Cardinals 18u. He will of course be there this weekend. I believe they won the first game this morning. Unfortunately I am working most of the weekend. I may be making the 4 hour drive on Sunday if they qualify for the playoffs.

Just got back little while ago... Some great baseball and weather was absolutely perfect. Crollss it's worth the drive if you can get there... Bayside Americans looked very impressive in dominating first two games. The Raiders from PR looked strong as well. Although doesn't appear son's team will make playoff round will head out there Sunday regardless.
