Im sure there are alot of guys here that have kids in the PG profiles. I would like to go check them out so I can put a face with the name so to speak and for discussion sake. I'll start with my youngest an 08 catcher Jeff May from the big city of Stem NC. Just go to the PG website and type in the name and the profile will come up along with a rating and scouting report. Also just recently they added a film clip of him swinging the wood at the Atlantic Coast Underclassman Showcase at Duke University. Come on folks lets get some names going and we can go check the boys out and have some fun with it.

Nice idea, Coach May. My son is RHP Mike Edgerton and he's an '08 as well. He's also (as is your son I imagine) on Prospects Plus.

PG has been a terrific experience for him--he went to his first one in the summer between his 8th grade and freshman year and then this past summer between his freshman and sophomore year. In fact, his second showcase was the Ohio Valley Top Prospect Showcase, and Mike was the only sophomore there. He was coming off four straight games and his speed was down to 74 mph, but two weeks after the Ohio Valley event, he was at the Notre Dame recruiting camp and Coach Gumpf phoned me a week later to tell me Coach Rooney had timed his fb at 76-80 mph and told us they (ND) were putting him on their "follow" list and he'd be getting invites to everything they had from then on. A couple week's rest makes a big difference, especially for a pitcher's velocity!

You and other posters may be interested in a book Mike and I cowrote (I'm a fulltime writer) when he was 12 that came out last year from Diamond Publications/Taylor Publishing (the publishers of the Dorfman Mental ABC baseball books), titled "Surviving Little League," a spoof at daddyball from the kids' point of view. (Always interested in increasing sales... also, Mike's share of the royalties goes into his college fund.)

Looking forward to meeting you, Coach May, and other webbers at future events. I've always enjoyed your posts.
Happy Start to the Holidays,
My older son Joe Mercurio 06' C is listed on the PG site. I also purchased his video from skillshow at the PG National for him to have as a keepsake. They did a great job....
My younger son Michael 09'will make his PG debut at a the showcase in December. He did play in the underclass event this past fall. I can't wait to get this all started again.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!

Son's name is Nikko Echevarria 2007 and plays SS/CF and is currently attending the Pendleton School (IMG Academies). The last showcase he attended was the Atlantic Coast Underclassman Showcase at Duke University, we will be attanding the National Underclass Showcase next month. He recently threw 90mph last week at school. Finding it hard to get his name out there since I am currently working overseas, this is why we are attending these Perfecct Game Showcases.
