I was hoping someone could tell me how quickly PG posts pitcher velocities after a tournament, and if there is any kind of policy they use regarding the positioning of the radar gun.

We attended our first event last week in Ft Meyers, and I havent seen anything posted for my son as of yet (following Friday). I also found it odd that for the Sunday games we played, the official scorekeeper had the gun pointed squarely at the umpires backside, when it wasn't pointed at the dirt to the right of the plate. This was at a field where there was an obvious radar gun bracket a little higher on the backstop.

Having been to a few over the past two years I have seen guns attached to a bracket at some fields .Other fields I have seen them perched on a stand. I am not a radar guru but I am quite certain they will post the maximum speed that a pitcher hits. As far as timing I think it depends on the work load schedule they have in front of them ie other tourneys etc. I have seen anywhere from one week to three weeks for posting numbers and results. For as many moving parts as PG has going on they do things extremely well.
If you were at the Cape Coral Sports Complex I would disregard all those readings.

The guns were set about 25-30degrees off center. They had wind screens that covered directly behind on the backstop fences and and partially on the connecting fences down each line.

On top of that the guns were pointed more cutting across the diamond between pitcher and catcher. Not sure if that makes sense... example if on third base side gun was pointing more across field to 2b.
